Thanks to everybody (Players and Spectators) who attended the match at Bellingham on Sunday 11th May.

We won overall and it was a great day and everybody seemed to be having a good time on all six triples.

Thanks again for making our first game a success.

 

 

First President's Bowl match was on 29th May against CMO's.

Thanks to everybody who made this a very successful game and to CMO's for a lovely meal afterwards.

 

The Representative Match against Banks on the 4th June at CMO's was a narrow win by 1 shot to the BCBA. Three people were awarded their badges and hope to see them again in future matches.

 

Thanks to Horley BC for holding our Representative Match on 11th June. It was a very enjoyable game and well done BCBA for another win this time by 14 shots overall.

One badge will be presented at Purley Bury President's Bowl match on19th June.

 

Once again we had a warm welcome from Purley Bury for our President's Bowl Match on 19th June

It was a very competative game which resulted in a win for the BCBA. Thank you to Purley Bury for a delicious meal afterwards. 

 

It was such a shame that Bensham Manor could only find 7 players for the President's Bowl match on 26th June. One of our team played for Bensham Manor and we played 2 rinks as a friendly. We were made to feel very welcome and many thanks for the refreshments provided after the game. 

 

President's Bowl Match 3rd July

We had a lovely evening at Shirley Park and thank you to all those who played and spectated. The green is a credit to Shirley Park and thank you so much for the delicious food afterwards.

 

President's Bowl Match at Ashburton Park

We had a great game at the home of out Competition Secretary / Social Secretary.It was a very close match and enjoyable to watch.

Ashburton Park provided excellent food after the match and thank you to all who helped prepare it.

 

BCBA Double Rink and the Hewitt's Bowlswear Double Triples Finals.

Thank you to Shirley Park and CMO's for letting us have their greens for playing these matches. Both were won by Old Coulsdon and Spring Park Shirley were runner's up in both finals.

Both Finals were enjoyable to watch and it was a nail biter in the Triples match with the outcome being Old Coulsdon winning by just 1 shot. Thank you again to both clubs for providing an excellent playing surface and delicious food afterwards.

 

Thank you Shirley Park for hosting our Representative Match against BBDBA.

This was a very enjoyable game and it was nice to see our friends from the BBDBA again after a gap of 2 years. As usual Shirley Park fed us extremely well after the game.

Many Thanks to Old Coulsdon for letting us hold a Presidents Bowl match on the 24th July we had a very enjoyable game but got soaking wet. First heavy rain for the season. The Tea and Sandwiches afterwards were very welcome and helped us warm up.

 

On a very hot summers day we once again played at Shirley Park in a Representative Match. The day went very well and everybody enjoyed themselves. The after match meal was delicious.

 

To be greeted by a lovely cup of tea on our arrival at Spring Park Shirley for the Presidents Bowl match on the 7th August was a very kind thought.

The match was very hard fought but the Supper that was provided afterwards more than made up for any exhaustion.

Purley Bury representative match. Unfortunately this match had to be postponed.

 

On a very dark and gloomy evening we held our last President's Bowl Match against Caterham.

We just about finished before it got too dark to see the Jack.

Thank you Caterham for the Tea and Biscuits afterwards.

 

Croydon cancelled their President's Bowl Match.
