A recent development in the history of the B.C.B.A. was the founding in 2005 of a Past Presidents Association. This was formed as a means of enabling Past Presidents to act in a unified way in support and furtherance of the objectives of the B.C.B.A., as well as to provide their own forum for discussion and a means of maintaining  social and sporting links between themselves and in relation to other District, County or National Associations. Membership is only open to Past Presidents of the B.C.B.A.
