BCBA

Associate Member of the English Bowling Association
MATCHES
The Association plays some twenty matches during the season, many to Kent and Sussex coastal clubs, but also with other Associations and some of the larger local clubs. (See Fixtures) Only ‘qualified’ players are entitled to play in these matches. Qualification is gained by either winning one’s Club Singles Championship or reaching the qualifying round of an Association competition.
In addition the President and members of the General Purposes Committee play a ‘President’s Bowl’ game at each of the Association clubs, the club with the highest shots difference at the end of the season holding the President’s Bowl for the following year.
PRESIDENT’S DAY: A highlight of the year is President’s Day, when the President brings a 6 rink team to play his own club.
